If we are living in a big apartment or
house, our home Wi-Fi router would be able to generate very strong signals
around its nearby area. We enjoy our Wi-Fi network near our router. But, when
we move upstairs or any other part of our home, we find that, the signal get
weak or sometimes the Wi-Fi network is non-existent. Our home router is capable
of expanding the Wi-Fi signals up to 300.500 feet. But, if we are living in a
home with thick walls, big electronic devices, constructional material, then,
due to all these obstructions the Wi-Fi range of our home router gets limited
to 75 to 100 feet. Under all the conditions discussed above, the Netgearwireless range extender is very useful in covering our entire house with a
strong and consistent Wi-Fi signal.
# Netgear wireless range extender increases
the Wi-Fi range
If we have the problems which we discussed
above, then, we can use a Netgear wireless range extender to boost the range
and strength of the Wi-Fi signal in our home. But, before installing the
Netgear wireless range extender, we could even try to change the location of
our home router. It may work. We can move our home router to more centralized
location so it could cover the entire area of our home. If moving the home
router in a centre of our house does not work, then We must install the Netgear
wireless range extender to cover each and every corner of our house with a
strong wireless network.
# How it works?
The Netgear wireless range extender
increase the range and strength of Wi-Fi network by receiving the Wi-Fi signals
from our home router. To do that, we have to place the Netgear wireless rangeextender within the range of strong Wi-Fi signal from our
home router. Once, the Netgear wireless range extender will start receiving the
strong signals from our home router, it will start boosting the Wi-Fi range and
strength in opposite direction of our home.
# Works better with Netgear routers
The hardware and software technologies used
in the making of Netgear wireless range extender and Netgear routers are almost
identical. As a result, if we use the Netgear wireless range extender with a
Netgear router, the performance of Netgear wireless range extender gets double.
That means, we would be able to get more range and more Wi-Fi signal strength
if we are going to use the Netgear wireless range extender with Netgear router.
