I don’t know where cold I find the New extender setup button

There are different ways to setup the Netgear wireless extender. Out of which, the web browser setup is the most common and easy. Whenever, we try to setup the Netgear wireless range extender by using the web browser setup, we have to open a web browser on a desktop computer or a laptop. Then, we have to write www.mywifiext.net on the address bar of any browser and search it. After that, we will see the New extender setup button on or computer screen. After clicking on the New extender setup button, the setup process will get started.

# Not able to reach to New extender setup button

There are some times when we are not lucky enough to find the New extender setup button. We may not have put the web address on the address bar of web browser. Instead of that, we may have put the web address on the search box. As a result, we might not be able to see the New extender setup button.  So, every time whenever we trying to setup the Netgear wireless extender using the web browser setup we always have to put the web address on the address bar of the web browser.

# What do I have to do after clicking on the New extender setup button?

First of all, we have to create account with Netgear. So, we have to fill some information on the screen and click on create account. After creating account, we have to select the network which we want to extend followed by putting the Wi-Fi password or network key. After that we have to chose the name for extender wireless network. After filling all the information, it will take a minute to apply all the settings. At last, we have to click on finish button and then after, Netgear wireless range extender is ready to be used.

# We could use the WPS and we will not need the New extender setup button

There are some other ways as well to setup the Netgear wireless range extender like WPS (Wi-Fi protected setup). In which, we have to press the WPS button on the Netgear extender and within two minutes of pressing the WPS button the extender, we have to press the WPS button the router as well.  After two minutes, The Netgear wireless extender will be configured and will be ready to use. While setting up the Netgear extender through wireless protected setup, we will not need any button. Perhaps the Netgear wireless extender will be connected to router automatically.
